THE GREATEST STORY NEVER TOLD
Regarding the movie “The Greatest Story Never Told” (about Hitler) I just watched the first chapter (again). I never get much beyond the third chapter. I get so enraged… I can hardly stand it.
THIS MOVIE IS SOOOOO BAD. JUST THE FIRST CHAPTER ALONE HAS SO MANY ERRORS AND IMPORTANT OMISSIONS. WHOEVER MADE THIS MOVIE, DID NOT STUDY HITLER. IT IS VERY BIASED AGAINST HITLER. THEY PRESENT HIM IN THE WORST WAY AND THEY LEAVE OUT VERY IMPORTANT DETAILS; FOR EXAMPLE THAT SEVERAL OF HIS FELLOW NATIONALISTS WERE KILLED WHILE HE WAS SHOT. HE WAS NOT A DRIFTER, HE ALWAYS WORKED. HIS FATHER WAS NOT A MEAN MAN; HE WAS A STRICT FATHER, AND NEVER DID HITLER OR ANYONE ELSE WRITE ABOUT HIS FATHER BEATING HIM, THOUGH IN THOSE DAYS CORPORAL PUNISHMENT WAS THE NORM. HE WAS NOT BORN INTO POVERTY. HE WAS BORN INTO MIDDLE CLASS. HIS FATHER WAS ALWAYS EMPLOYED AND WAS A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL. IN THOSE DAYS THIS WAS A VERY GOOD MIDDLE CLASS JOB.
I can hardly get myself to watch the next chapter. I am just burning up inside! I remember 2 or so years ago, I did watch about 3 chapters and I told in an email that I thought this movie is bad. Then one of our fellow “German defenders” in my email group attacked me. Are people blind? Do they not see the bias? And since there are all these movie scenes in, it must be a Hollywood deal. I am going to look for it and remove it from my blog. I hope I find each one I have posted because I cannot get myself to watch another chapter. The Hell with this trash. I should have stood by my conviction and not the advertisement. How quickly one forgets.
Whoever made this movies knows beans about Germans and beans about Hitler and European history.
